Barbara Maurina

Barbara Maurina is Archaeologist of the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento. She received her MA from University of Trento, and has completed post-degree courses at the Institute of Archaeology of University College London, an advanced degree at the University of Trieste and a PhD at the University of Siena. She has collaborated with universities, museums and institutes in Italy and abroad; and from 1988 archaeological campaigns in Africa, Britain, Greece and Italy, including the excavation of Ventotene Roma Villa. She is the author of more than 100 scientific publications.
