Beatriz Noria-Serrano

Beatriz Noria-Serrano (MA, Liverpool 2018) is a PhD candidate in Egyptology at the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain) and a member of the Middle Kingdom Theban Project (UAH). In 2019, she received the prestigious “Introduction to Research” fellowship from the Spanish National Research Council to work as a research assistant for the Djehuty Project. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford, the Institut Français d'Archéologie Orientale, the Freie Universität Berlin and the Robert Anderson Trust. Her main research interests are gender, identity, and social issues during Middle Kingdom Egypt (ca 1980-1760 BCE).
