Francesco Genchi

Research Fellow, Sapienza–University, Rome

Francesco Genchi is a Research Fellow at the Sapienza–University of Rome. He is a professional archaeologist specialized in stratigraphic excavation and 3D digital documentation, as well as in archaeological survey and landscape mapping. Genchi participated in excavations at Ras Al-Hadd, Ras Al-Jinz and Ras Al-Hamra and was also field-director for the Ministry of Heritage and Culture in several rescue projects. He is presently directing the excavation of Iron Age collective graves at Dibbā Al-Bayah in the Musandam Governorate.
