Manolis I. Stefanakis is a Professor in Classical Archaeology and Numismatics in the Department of Mediterranean Studies, University of the Aegean. He has been director of the University of the Aegean Kymissala Archaeological Research Project, Rhodes (held in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Dodecanese) since 2006. He is also the publishing director of the journal Eulimene, and the Eulimene Series of Independent Publications. His research interests focus on Classical archaeology, Ancient Greek numismatics, field archaeology and sustainability and archaeoseismology.
