Mercedes Versaci

MERCEDES VERSACI received her Ph.D. from the University of Cádiz in 2018 and she is an active member of the research group HUM 812: Studies in Prehistory, Archaeology, Ethnoarchaeology, Anthropology and Cultural Landscape (PAEAPC) at the same institution. Her studies on the rock art of the Province of Cádiz go back to the year 2007, and she has published (in specialist magazines) several researches concerning paintings and funeral customs in recent prehistory. She has participated in various projects on the funerary world in the Province of Cádiz and currently combines these studies with ethnoarchaeological research on the pottery of Rif (Morocco). | MERCEDES VERSACI se doctoró por la Universidad de Cádiz en 2018 con la máxima calificación Sobresaliente cum laude. Es miembro activo del Grupo de investigación HUM 812: Estudios de Prehistoria, Arqueología, Etnoarqueología, Antropología y Paisaje cultural (PAEAPC) perteneciente a la Universidad de Cádiz. Sus estudios sobre el arte rupestre de la Provincia de Cádiz se remontan al año 2007. Ha realizado diversas investigaciones, publicadas en revistas especializadas, sobre las pinturas y sobre las costumbres funerarias durante la Prehistoria Reciente. Ha participado en diversos proyectos sobre el mundo funerario en la Provincia de Cádiz y actualmente combina dichos estudios con investigaciones etnoarqueológicas de la cerámica del Rif (Marruecos).
