About the Author

Santiago Sánchez de la Parra-Pérez is a pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Salamanca (Junta de Castilla y León and European Social Fund). His main research focuses on Latin epigraphy in Hispania. ;

Sonia Díaz-Navarro is a pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Valladolid (Junta de Castilla y León and European Social Fund). Her research is based on the osteoarchaeological study of the peninsular populations of recent prehistory (Neolithic-Bronze Age). ;

Javier Fernández-Lozano is assistant professor at the University of León. His main lines of research are the archaeology of mining and the study of the geological processes responsible for the formation of mountains in the Iberian Peninsula, using techniques based on 3D laser, spectral analysis and gravimetry. ;

Javier Jiménez Gadea is director of the Museum of Avila. He specialises in the Middle Ages, Islam and heritage management.
Santiago Sánchez de la Parra-Pérez trabaja actualmente como investigador predoctoral en la Universidad de Salamanca (Junta de Castilla y León y Fondo Social Europeo). Su investigación principal se centra en la epigrafía latina en Hispania. ;

Sonia Díaz-Navarro trabaja actualmente como investigadora predoctoral en la Universidad de Valladolid (Junta de Castilla y León y Fondo Social Europeo). Su investigación se basa en el estudio osteoarqueológico de las poblaciones peninsulares de la prehistoria reciente (Neolítico-Edad del Bronce). ;

Javier Fernández-Lozano es profesor ayudante doctor de la Universidad de León. Sus principales líneas de investigación son la arqueología de la minería y el estudio de los procesos geológicos responsables de la formación de montañas en la Península Ibérica mediante técnicas basadas en láser 3D, análisis espectral y gravimetría. ;

Javier Jiménez Gadea es director del Museo de Ávila. Se especializó en la Edad Media, el Islam y la gestión del patrimonio. Se dedica al estudio de las manifestaciones materiales mudéjares.
