Welcome American Research Center in Egypt visitors! The Online Egyptological Bibliography (OEB) holds the largest available collection of references in Egyptological literature and is updated nearly every day. It includes the records and abstracts from Annual Egyptological Bibliography (AEB, 1947-2001), combined with Bibliographie Altägypten (BA, 1822-1946), the Aigyptos database with keywords, and more than 70,000 further items. Coverage is from 1822 to the present. OEB is a collaboration of the University of Oxford and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. Enhancements are announced as they are introduced. For search tips see the User information tab. For What’s new see below. OEB latest releases : More new releases OEB 331702 Leclant, Jean 1965. What's newMarch 2024: OEB now presents more than 177,300 records online, an increase of over 4,300 since July 2023. Review and conversion of legacy records continues; just over 3% remain to be processed. However, the verification of material inherited from AEB and BA has reached a stage where the OEB team needs to rely on colleagues around the world for information about rare older items. We are very grateful for all the help and collaboration provided.
