: 'Masters of the Steppe' consists of 45 papers presented at a major international conference held at the British Museum in 2017 on the occasion of the BP exhibition 'Scythians: Warriors of Ancient Siberia', both conference and exhibition being jointly organised with the State Hermitage Museum. There are 58 contributors and co-authors from 16 countries, mostly from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, but also America, Britain, France, Germany, China and Mongolia. The papers range from new archaeological discoveries, results of scientific research and studies of museum collections to reconstructions of social elites, the phenomenon of monumental tomb construction, and 'Animal Style' art.

Coton Park, Rugby, Warwickshire : a middle Iron Age settlement with copper alloy casting /

: A total area of 3.1ha, taking in much of a settlement largely of the earlier Middle Iron Age, was excavated in 1998 in advance of development. The Iron Age settlement comprised several groups of roundhouse ring ditches and associated small enclosures forming an open settlement set alongside a linear boundary ditch. This title considers the physical, social, and economic structure of the settlement.

: As part of the Property Development Programme for Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire, English Heritage created an ambitious reconstruction of the former Elizabethan garden on the north side of the castle keep. In order to achieve a reliable representation of the original garden, a team with a broad range of specialist knowledge was brought together to advise first upon the practicality of undertaking the project and then to assist in the delivery of its design. Related detailed studies have been assembled in an English Heritage monograph edited by Anna Keay and John Watkins (2013).
