Sergilla est un des villages antiques les mieux conservés de la Syrie du Nord. C'est un village abandonné situé dans la partie sud du Gebel Zawiye dont les dimensions moyennes ont permis d'en étudier toutes les composantes. Ce premier tome, en deux volumes et dépliants, est consacré à l'étude des vestiges bâtis, constitués en majorité de maisons, mais aussi d'installations artisanales, de tombeaux, d'un ensemble ecclésial, d'une auberge et de bains.
