"Le site monastique de Baouît en Moyenne-⁹gypte fait l'objet depuis 2003 de fouilles arcȟologiques, meňes conjointement par l'Ifao et le muše du Louvre. Š'tendant de la ̌priode byzantine ayant přčď la Conqůte aux premiers sïcles de ľ'poque arabe, il sert plus largement de ř̌frence dans la řgion du Bassin ̌mditerraňen.
