De l'enfant au fils : Essai sur la filiation dans les Mille et une nuits /

Cet ouvrage montre que la filiation par le nom et l'héritage a, dans le monde arabe et musulman, une autre dimension plus fondamentale sinon fondatrice, la filiation symbolique ou le principe du père.Le conte-cadre met en scène un conflit entre deux frères sur l'origine de la fratrie et, par conséquent, de la filiation: est-elle maternelle ou paternelle? Deux contes montrent que la parole vivante est l'espace où se fonde le principe du père en tant que principe de vie pour le sujet. Dès qu'il y accède, cette parole le délie de la mort, particulièrement celle liée au noeud oedipien (inceste-parricide-infanticide). Enfin, accéder à cette parole n'est pas chose aisée. L'échec vient de l'équivocité de la parole laquelle conduit à la perversion. La réussite repose le plus souvent, non sur l'amour, mais sur le savoir, un savoir incomplet.

La science-fiction française au XXe siècle (1900-1968) : Essai de socio-poétique d'un genre en émergence /

Cet essai est la première étude d'envergure sur la science-fiction française (SFF) du XXe s. (jusqu'à 1968). Évitant le double écueil de l'élitisme et du populisme, l'auteur propose de voir la science-fiction comme une poétique de l'altérité dans les domaines du socio-historique et du bio-écologique. À partir des études d'historiens et de théoriciens majeurs de la science-fiction (D. Suvin, I.F. Clarke, R. Scholes, G. Klein, M. Angenot), des travaux sur l'imaginaire social (C. Castoriadis) et sur la sociologie des biens symboliques de P. Bourdieu, il tente de répondre à une série de questions: comment, en dépit de leur état florissant, l'anticipation et le roman scientifique français n'ont-ils pu déboucher sur un mouvement comparable à celui de la science-fiction américaine des années 1920? À quoi attribuer la crise persistante de la science-fiction française, avant et après les années 1950, date de la découverte de la science-fiction américaine en France par l'action notamment de Boris Vian et Raymond Queneau? L'auteur a cherché une réponse à ces questions dans la poétique sociale du genre. Retournant aux textes, il réalise une vue en coupe de la SFF à travers cinq modèles socio-discursifs majeurs représentés par Rosny Aîné, Maurice Renard, Jacques Spitz, B.R. Bruss, Stefan Wul. "Cet ouvrage constitue la synthèse de la recherche sur la statuaire royale de la XIXe dynastie dont le catalogue a paru en ligne en 2018. Le présent volume regroupe les résultats des observations sur les statues réparties par types. Un premier chapitre expose le nombre de statues par règne et la fréquence des types auxquels elles correspondent, y compris les statues remployées sous la XIXe dynastie et celles qui lui sont attribuées. Les chapitres suivants condensent l'évolution des types de statues en suivant celle de leurs costumes, coiffures et attributs, leur fréquence dans les groupes statuaires, mais aussi des représentations en deux dimensions de ces statues et leurs parallèles dans des scènes rituelles. L'examen mené permet d'établir la place qu'occupe chaque type de statue dans un temple et donne lieu à un essai d'interprétation de sa fonction dans l'ensemble du mobilier du temple. Il se poursuit par une synthèse des provenances, dimensions, matériaux et techniques, une autre consacrée à l'accoutrement et, enfin, une présentation récapitulative du style et de l'iconographie, assortie de notices sur les critères de datation. This publication is a synthesis of research on the royal statuarv of the Nineteenth Dynasty. It accompanies the catalogue of these statues that appeared on line in 2019.The present volume contains the results of observations on the royal statues, which are presented by type. The first chapter presents the statues by reign and by the types of statues within each reign, including statues reused by kings of the Nineteenth Dynasty as well as ones attributed to them.The succeeding chapters follow the evolution of statue types alongside the development of costume, coiffure and attributes. The frequency of these features in group statues and in two dimensional representations as well as their parallels in ritual scenes are also studied. The investigation defines the position of each type of statue in the temple and ends with an attempt to understand the rote of each statue type within the temple furniture. The next chapters deal with provenances, dimensions, materials, and techniques of the statues, followed by those on the accessories, and finally the style and the iconography are discussed, accompanied by comments on dating criteria. A general conclusion summarizes these observations, and traces the itinerary of the king through a model temple according to the corresponding statue types."--Page 4 of cover.
