This book is therefore a timely and indispensable resource for those interested in the history of the fourth gospel interpretation, and in examples of literary methods applied to John.

This collaborative commentary on, or dictionary of, Kings, explores cross-cutting aspects of Kings ranging from the analysis of its composition, historically regarded, to its transmission and reception.
