Arthur Rhoné

Rhoné in 1886 Arthur-Ali Rhoné (14 March 1836 – 7 June 1910) was a wealthy amateur French Arabist and Egyptologist. He was known for his efforts to prevent the vandalism of monuments in Cairo, Egypt, and in Paris, France.
