The latter was often described as a full-blown war with the neighbouring People's Democratic Republic of the Yemen (PDRY) and its Soviet supporters. Nevertheless, this strategically located, mostly Ibadhi sect Sultanate, has developed from a medieval, into a modern state. | ||
