Description
Summary:The Seventeenth Orion Symposium, held online, invited scholars to present research-in-progress, and to relate their texts to diverse literary, cultural, historical, and methodological contexts, including social sciences and manuscript studies. In some cases, authors reexamined published texts with the help of digital technologies and computational approaches, and suggested new contexts for understanding the significance of minute details. The volume is dedicated to Esther Chazon, who conceived of the symposium, in recognition of her many contributions to the Orion Center and to the field of Scrolls studies.
