Summary:It is gratifying to note that, in spite of the uncertainty in the Middle East, there has been no appreciable falling off in the membership of the Center nor of the interest of the Members in the aims of our organization. A tangible evidence of such interest is the recent gift of $150., voluntarily made by a Trustee who wishes to remain anonymous, to help defray the expenses of the present representative of the Center in Egypt, Mr. Edward F. Wente, who, as announced to the Members on March 1و kindly consented to render such services for the Center as circumstances permit for the remainder of the present season.
