| الملخص: | At the Annual Meeting of the Center in November 1962, the President-elect, Dr. William Stevenson Staith, announced to the membership a proposed expansion of the Center’s research activities in Egypt, to be undertaken with the cooperation of several American universities and with the assistance of funds provided by the Government of the United States, acting through the Department of State. After several months of negotiation, it is a pleasure to announce that an agreement has now been reached and that the proposed expansion is about to become a reality. |
