Cette bibliographie regroupe d'abord les études sur le texte grec proprement dit- éditions, langue des traducteurs, techniques de traduction, critique textuelle, manuscrits de Ia Septante trouvés à Qumrân, réception dans le judaïsme hellénistique (Philon, Flavius Josèphe) et le christianisme ancien (Nouveau Testament et Pères). Viennent ensuite les études particulières, classées par livre biblique, suivies des études sur les versions, orientales et latines, issues de la Septante. Le volume s'achève sur les travaux consacrés aux illustrations de la Septante. Cet instrument de travail s'adresse à tous ceux qui s'intéressent à la Bible, au judaïsme et au christianisme de l'Antiquité. This volume is a successor to A Classified Bibliography of the Septuagint ( Brill , Leiden 1973), by S.P. Brock, C.T. Fritsch and S. Jellicoe, for the literature on the Septuagint published between 1970 and 1993. It includes general publications on the Greek text - editions, language, translators' techniques, textual criticism, Septuagint manuscripts from Qumran and the use of the Septuagint in Ancient Judaism (Philon, Josephus) and Christianity (New Testament and Patristica). Particular studies are then classified by the individual books of the Bible, followed by literature on Oriental and Latin versions derived from the Septuagint. The studies on the illustrations of the Septuagint are included at the end. This reference tool will be indispensable for scholars or students interested in Bible, Judaism and Christianity in Late Antiquity.

Cet ouvrage ouvre une fenêtre sur la transmission des lettres de Paul en arabe. Il s'interroge sur le manque d'intérêt depuis le début du 20ème siècle pour les manuscrits arabes du Nouveau Testament et apporte une contribution à la récente reprise scientifique de ce champ, en étudiant le corpus largement inexploré des manuscrits arabes des lettres de Paul. Après un état des lieux établi à l'aide d'un répertoire de manuscrits, l'étude se concentre sur un manuscrit, le Vaticanus Arabicus 13. L'édition de la Première lettre aux Corinthiens de ce document du 9ème siècle est suivie d'une analyse linguistique et philologique pointue ; elle permet de dégager des éléments exégétiques qui mettent en lumière l'intérêt théologique du texte. This work provides an insight into the transmission of the Letters of Paul into Arabic. It aims to understand the lack of interest since the beginning of the 20th century for the Arabic manuscripts of the New Testament and to contribute to the current scholarly rediscovery for this field by studying the largely unexplored corpus of the Arabic manuscripts of the Letters of Paul. After a broad overview with the help of a list of witnesses, the study focuses on a specific manuscript: Vaticanus Arabicus 13. The edition of First Corinthians of this 9th century document is followed by a close analysis of linguistic and philological aspects, while the underlining of interesting exegetical points reveals the theological interest of the text.

The diffusion of the cults of Isis is recently again intensively studied. Cette nouvelle édition implique un progrès considérable vis-à-vis la dernière édition de la main de Richard Wagner (datant de 1894) vu qu'elle rend compte de pas moins de 37 témoins. Mais son intérêt dépasse de loin l'histoire de l'alchimie : s'alimentant à des sources aussi diverses que Zosime de Panopolis, Stéphanos d'Alexandrie ou, plus surprenant, Hippolyte de Rome, la Turba se situe au confluent de nombreuses traditions grecques (philosophiques, hermétiques et patristiques), et porte témoignage à la fois de l'histoire de la transmission du savoir grec, et de celle de sa réception dans l'Égypte du IXe siècle. The Turba Philosophorum is a treatise whose Arabic original is lost, and which is one of the founding texts of Latin alchemy. But its interest goes far beyond the history of alchemy: using sources as different as Zosimus of Panopolis, Stephanos of Alexandria or, more surprising, Hippolyte of Rome, the Turba is at the confluence of many Greek traditions (philosophical, hermetic and patristic), and bears testimony both to the history of the transmission of Greek knowledge, and of its reception in Egypt in the ninth century. The study of the structure of the treatise also shows the exceptional originality of the philosophical project of its author: to construct a path allowing the reader to appropriate the doctrine of Greek \'philosophers\'.

This volume contains the papers read at the Leiden Conference on Canonization and Decanonization of 9-10 January 1997.
