Nicolas d'Autrécourt (c. 1298-1369) est l'un des penseurs les plus audacieux de l'histoire de la philosophie, et Zénon Kaluza, qui lui a consacré près de trente ans d'études, nous le fait découvrir par ses sources, ses doctrines et ses manuscrits. Ce livre propose notamment des analyses sur des thèmes importants (tels que la perception, la causalité finale, les catégories ou l'éternité du monde) ainsi qu'une nouvelle édition des Prologues de l'Exigit ordo, enrichie d'un commentaire suivi. Les études-dont certaines sont parues mais difficiles d'accès et d'autres sont inédites-dévoilent la figure d'un philosophe désirant de libérer la philosophie des contraintes institutionnelles et de critiquer la métaphysique d'Aristote, au risque de bouleverser les traditions, de contredire les dogmes de la foi et se voir condamner par les autorités théologiques de son temps. Nicolas d'Autrécourt (c. 1298-1369) is one of the most daring thinkers in the history of philosophy, and Zénon Kaluza, who has devoted to him nearly thirty years of study, presents him to us through his sources, his doctrines and his manuscripts. The reader will find studies on some of the most relevant philosophical doctrines (such as perception, the final causality, the categories and the eternity of the world) as well as a new edition of the Prologues of the Exigit ordo , enriched with a running commentary. The texts gathered here-some of which have been published previously but are difficult to access and others which have been unpublished until now-reveal a philosopher who wished to free philosophy from institutional constraints and dared to criticize Aristotle's metaphysics, at the risk of upsetting traditions and contradicting the dogmas of the faith, and who was condemned by the theological authorities of his time.

This fourth volume of IBIS completes the first series of this analytical bibliography of publications concerning the spread of cults of Isis published between 1940 and 1969 (nos. 1167 to 1752). Authors have sometimes been driven to look beyond the limits of the Greco-Roman world and the field of the Isiac cults stricto sensu . Such is the case with Egyptian or Egyptisizing documents carried by Greek or Phonecian-Punic commerce towards the distant western coasts of the Mediterranean basin. The Egyptophile tradition in our European culture seems to have taken its place here too. Each of the literature reviews given here is accompanied by very precise bibliographical references for the publications concerned, as well as a detailed analysis of the contents of the publication and its contribution to the general themes of research. The authors have aimed to provide the most complete and practical research tool possible. Furthermore, a number of cross-references and additional bibliographical information have been provided in the notes. A detailed index of more than 150 pages allows not only a rapid consultation of the work, but also fairly direct access to complete bibliographies on the cults of Isis, the Aegyptiaca and Egyptian influences in the Greco-Roman world. Les auteurs ont été parfois entrâinés à dépasser les limites du monde gréco-romain et le domaine des cultes isiaques stricto sensu . Tel est le cas pour les documents égyptiens ou égyptisants véhiculés par le commerce grec ou phénico-punique jusque vers les côtes lointaines de l'Ouest du bassin méditerranéen. La tradition de l'égyptophilie dans notre culture européenne a semblé également devoir prendre ici sa place. Pour chacune des 585 notices sont données les références bibliographiques très précises de la publication concernée, ainsi qu'une analyse détaillée du contenu de la publication et de son apport à nos thèmes de recherches. L'objectif des auteurs a été de fournir un instrument de travail le plus complet et le plus pratique possible. Les traditions anciennes, antérieures au VIIIe siècle, sur le sort final de Marie forment un ensemble à la fois très étendu et fort complexe. Les traditions littéraires sur la dormition et l'assomption représentent une pièce majeure du dossier. Mais elles ne peuvent être situées et classées que si l'on considère également les traditions topologiques s'y rapportant. Le présent volume, qui complète celui publié en 1995 ( Dormition et Assomption de Marie. Histoire des traditions anciennes ), présente de manière définitive une recherche commencée en 1986. Dans ce recueil, un certain nombre de contributions, treize, parues à part du premier volume, entre 1992 et 2007, ont été regroupées. Ces différents travaux, corrigés et complétés, fournissent des apports fondamentaux, d'ordre littéraire comme d'ordre doctrinal : en particulier ceux relatifs à l'histoire de la recherche dans ce domaine, aux Vies de la Vierge et aux Apocalypses de la Vierge . The ancient traditions before the VIIIth century concerning the final fate of Mary constitute a large and very complex group. The literary traditions on the dormition and the assumption represent the major part of this dossier. We can only situate and classify them if we also study their topological traditions. The present volume completes the volume published in 1995 ( Dormition et Assomption de Marie. Histoire des traditions anciennes ). It is the final result of a research started in 1986. In the current compilation we regroup thirteen contributions published between 1992 and 2007. These different articles, rectified and completed, present a fundamental contribution, literary and doctrinal: particularly those on the history of the research, the Lives of the Virgin and the Apocalypses of the Virgin.

Viennent ensuite les études particulières, classées par livre biblique, suivies des études sur les versions, orientales et latines, issues de la Septante. Jellicoe, for the literature on the Septuagint published between 1970 and 1993. It includes general publications on the Greek text - editions, language, translators' techniques, textual criticism, Septuagint manuscripts from Qumran and the use of the Septuagint in Ancient Judaism (Philon, Josephus) and Christianity (New Testament and Patristica). Particular studies are then classified by the individual books of the Bible, followed by literature on Oriental and Latin versions derived from the Septuagint. The studies on the illustrations of the Septuagint are included at the end. This reference tool will be indispensable for scholars or students interested in Bible, Judaism and Christianity in Late Antiquity.
